How Can a Person Get Eternal Life?

Jesus offers eternal, everlasting life.

It’s what humans were created for.

What is it? Jesus said that eternal life is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent (John 17:3).

It’s simple. It’s glorious.

How can someone receive it?

Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (John 3:16).

Once someone is saved, how can they know God?

1. ”You shall seek Me and you shall find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

2. Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40).

“How Much More will Your Heavenly Father Give the Holy Spirit . . .” (Luke 11:13).

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13)

God is a Giving God

If someone asks the Father for the Holy Spirit, the Father will give them their request.

Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you” (John 14:16-17).

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
